Electrical Site Inspector (MEP)
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Site Inspector with 6+ years of experience in MEP construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for inspecting and monitoring electrical works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, safety standards, and UAE authority regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Inspect installation of cabling, panels, switchgear, lighting systems, and earthing systems
- Ensure compliance with approved electrical drawings and specifications
- Witness testing & commissioning activities including IR testing, continuity testing, and load testing
- Conduct regular site inspections and prepare inspection reports
- Identify defects, snags, and non-conformities and follow up on closures
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and project teams
- Verify work progress, quality standards, and material compliance
- Attend site meetings and provide technical support
- Ensure compliance with DEWA, Dubai Municipality, and Civil Defense regulations
- Maintain adherence to health & safety standards
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 6+ years of experience in MEP site inspection or supervision
- Strong experience in residential, commercial, or industrial construction projects
- Good knowledge of UAE/Gulf electrical standards and regulations
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and MEP drawings
- Experience in testing & commissioning processes
- Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and inspection reporting tools
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken
- Currently working as Electrical Site Inspector, QAQC Inspector, or MEP Supervisor
- Experience working with contractors or consultants
- Exposure to large-scale construction projects
- Based in UAE/GCC or willing to relocate
- Salary: AED 10,000
- Contract Duration: 3 Months, extendable
