Purpose of Role / Summary: The Sales Manager is responsible for managing a sales team, driving revenue growth, and ensuring that sales targets are consistently met.
The successful candidate will play a key role in expanding our customer base, maintaining strong client relationships, and contributing to the overall business strategy.
Experience in sales within the financial services and/or brokerage industry is a must.
Proven track record of success in sales and team leadership is also needed.
Main Activities and Responsibilities: Serve as a Sales Manager, leveraging your expertise to cultivate and bring in your own sales portfolios Lead and mentor a team of [BDM's and Senior BDM's], providing them with the necessary support and resources to excel in their roles Develop and implement strategic plans for the team to achieve sales targets, forecasting expected sales and profits for existing and new products Provide hands-on guidance and practical advice to the team to enhance their performance and drive results Recruit, train, and develop the relationship management team, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and values Collaborate closely with the other departments to devise effective strategies, offerings, procedures and promotions Innovate and explore new business development strategies, translating them into profitable ventures Facilitate communication and alignment between sales and other departments, ensuring a consistent closed loop for lead and opportunity management Monitor and analyze lead and pipeline data to validate quality and provide insights for continuous improvement Any other duties relevant to the role Required Skills & Experience: 5+ years of proven experience in sales, with at least 2 years in a managerial role within the financial services or brokerage industry Strong leadership and team management experience, with the ability to inspire, coach, and drive performance Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills Strong understanding of financial products, market trends, and client needs Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies Results-oriented with a passion for driving business growth Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
