Here at iBLOXX Studios DMCC, we are looking for a talented and experienced Unreal Engine 3D Generalist/Level Designer to join our team!

If you have a passion for crafting immersive, visually stunning levels and gameplay experiences, we want to hear from you. You will play a key role in designing exciting, dynamic levels using Unreal Engine, optimizing for mobile platforms, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring our games to life.

The Role:

• Asset Creation: Create high-quality 3D models, textures, and assets for Unreal Engine projects, optimizing them for performance and ensuring they meet project requirements and technical specifications.
• Design & Build: Create engaging levels from scratch, including greyboxing and blockouts, then elevate them with visually impressive details. Ensure smooth functionality across all platforms, especially mobile.
• Placement & Interactivity: Strategically place all elements in the level to enhance core gameplay and create engaging interactions between players, enemies, and the environment.
• Research & Innovate: Dive into the game's world and subject matter to develop fresh ideas that keep the player experience exciting and unique.
• Collaborate: Work closely with Art, Engineering, and Development teams to refine mechanics, combat encounters, and cinematic moments.

Requirements:

• Unreal Engine Expertise: Strong experience with Unreal Engine and understanding of its systems.
• 3D Modeling Software: Proficiency in 3D modeling software like Maya, Blender, or 3ds Max.
• 3D Design Experience: Demonstrated ability to design levels in 3D environments that are both engaging and functional.
• Mobile Optimization: Understanding of asset optimization techniques to ensure performance across platforms.
• Creative & Technical Skills: A blend of creativity in designing immersive environments, along with technical know-how to implement them seamlessly within the game.
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous about every element in your design, ensuring it serves the overall game experience.
• Cinematic Design: Experience designing and implementing cinematic moments to add depth to both story and gameplay.
• Team Player: Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with others, as well as openness to feedback.
• Portfolio: A portfolio demonstrating your 3D modeling, level design, and Unreal Engine expertise.

Bonus Points:

• 3D Art Skills: Experience with 3D art tools like Maya, 3ds Max, or similar programs.
• Architecture Knowledge: A good eye for architectural design and structure.
