Job Description
Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team in the packaging machinery sector. The Sales Representative will be responsible for promoting and selling packaging machines to businesses in various industries.This role requires strong sales skills, product knowledge, and a passion for driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities- Sales & Business Development: Actively identify and develop new business opportunities within the packaging machinery market.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with current and potential clients to understand their packaging needs and recommend suitable machinery solutions.
- Product Presentation: Conduct product presentations and demonstrations of packaging machines to potential customers, both in person and virtually.
- Sales Negotiations: Manage the full sales cycle, including negotiating prices, terms, and contracts with customers.
- Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor products, and customer requirements to effectively position the company's packaging solutions.
- Customer Support: Provide exceptional after-sales service, ensuring client satisfaction and facilitating the installation and maintenance of packaging machines.
- Sales Targets & Reporting: Achieve sales targets and prepare regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and performance metrics.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the engineering, technical, and customer support teams to ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the packaging machinery or manufacturing industry.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong understanding of packaging machine technology and market trends.
- Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to travel as needed.
