About the role:
Youll be the strategic partner within the Business team, supporting high-impact technology deals and partnerships. Youll help structure deals, assess legal risks, and drive agreements for advanced technology offerings. This is a 12-month fixed term contract.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with BD leads to structure and negotiate commercial agreements with tech vendors, clients, and strategic partners
- Conduct legal due diligence for new technologies, partnerships, and commercialisation opportunities
- Draft and review contracts including licensing, reseller, distribution, and services agreements
- Identify and mitigate legal risks in go-to-market strategies and commercial models
- Support pricing, revenue recognition, and deal structuring from a deal perspective
- Maintain contract templates and playbooks tailored for BD use cases
- Track key contract milestones, obligations, and renewal cycles
- Liaise with internal stakeholders (Legal, Finance, Product, Compliance) to align deal terms with business goals
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Law, Business, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in commercial contracts, preferably in tech or innovation-driven industries
- Strong understanding of IP, licensing, and technology transfer in commercial contexts
- Experience supporting BD or sales teams in contract negotiations
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Collaborative and Works seamlessly across BD, Legal, and Product teams
