Cyber Security Specialist Job Title: Senior Consultant/ Assistant ManagerExperience: 3-8 Years Position

Overview:
We are seeking highly skilled Cyber Security Consultants with 3 to 8 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a balance of hands-on technical experience in cyber security, along with expertise in Cyber Security governance standards and frameworks.This role is critical in helping our clients enhance their security posture and manage cyber risks effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct Vulnerability Assessments, Penetration Testing, and Red Teaming exercises to identify and mitigate risks.
Perform security assessments and gap analysis based on frameworks like ISO 27001, NIST CSF, and others.
Advise clients on cyber governance standards and frameworks, including PCI DSS, NIST CSF, ISO 27001, Data Privacy (GDPR, DPDP, etc.), and other relevant regulations.
Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and controls aligned with industry best practices.
Provide technical expertise to improve client security architecture and threat management.
Provide guidance on incident response planning and execution, including post-incident analysis and reporting.
Analyze the functional and technical needs of our clients to provide them with insight into the security solutions adapted to their needs.
Prepare detailed reports and presentations on findings, remediation plans, and recommendations.
Stay updated on the latest cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and technology trends to provide proactive recommendations.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
3 to 8 years of hands-on experience in Cyber Security, including:
o Vulnerability Assessments, Penetration Testing, Red Teaming, etc.
o Implementation of security standards like ISO 27001, NIST CSF, CIS Controls, etc.
Strong understanding of security technologies (e.g., firewalls, SIEMs, IDS/IPS, etc.).
Experience with regulatory compliance (GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS) and security audits.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Familiarity with risk management methodologies and threat intelligence.
Experience with cloud security practices and tools (AWS, Azure, etc.).
Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, OSCP, or ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor are a plus.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to assess complex security issues and provide effective solutions.
