Job Summary:
The Sales Director will lead the sales department, manage a team of Business Development Managers (BDMs), and drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in strategic sales leadership, developing new business opportunities, and building high-performing sales teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage, and mentor the BDM team to achieve sales targets and KPIs.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans aligned with company goals.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across target markets and industries.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Monitor sales performance and prepare regular reports and forecasts for top management.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to drive business decisions.
- Collaborate with marketing, operations, and finance teams to support sales strategies.
- Represent the company at networking events, exhibitions, and industry forums.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing guidelines, and legal requirements.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum 610 years of progressive sales experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with experience handling BDMs.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to develop and close high-value business deals.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and decision-making skills.
