Events & Production Team Leader

Job Overview:

This position works with the Miral Experiences team as an active participant in achieving artistic goals, ensuring consistent quality, sharing knowledge with the team, supporting production and execution of events and shows while maintaining a positive attitude in the workplace, guaranteeing high standards in the delivery of all offerings and preserving production and execution values across the properties.

Job Scope:

• Assists with facilitating events and live entertainment offerings when requested.
• Acts as entertainment manager on duty for events.

• Oversees installation, execution and de-rig of events as required, to include hands on work as required.
• Interfaces with all colleagues and outside vendors in a professional and courteous manner.

• Develops and helps maintain up to date documentation.
• Keeps track of supplies and places orders for replacements in a timely manner.
• Assists with administrative tasks when needed

Job Essentials:

• 1+ years of art/craft/costume/theatre/entertainment/sport background
• Higher Secondary or equivalent
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Computer skills; Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to take the lead when necessary.
• Ability to deliver to strict timelines.
• Proven ability in troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to understand line drawings and schematics.
• Willing to work the nightshift if necessary.
• Attention to detail and highly organized.

Job Desirables:

• Qualification in the arts, events or related fields.
• 1+ years of experience in the event/theme park industry
• Entertainment or Project management
• A second language is a plus
