Head of Project Warehouse & Site Logistics

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Head of Project Warehouse & Site Logistics to oversee warehouse and logistics operations on a large-scale project site in the UAE. The successful candidate will ensure efficient material handling, storage, and delivery to support project execution while maintaining high standards of safety, compliance, and cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise warehouse operations, including inventory control, space management, shipping, and quality assurance.
• Develop and implement warehouse and logistics systems for peak efficiency and productivity.
• Oversee transportation of materials and equipment to and from the laydown site, ensuring compliance with transport regulations.
• Coordinate closely with site management to align logistics with project schedules.
• Train and manage the warehouse and logistics teams, ensuring performance targets are met.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
• Monitor and report on logistics performance, costs, and safety standards.
• Prepare and manage logistics budgets while minimizing costs without compromising service levels.
• Implement contingency plans for potential logistical disruptions.

Candidate Profile:

• Bachelors degree in business administration, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years experience in warehouse and logistics management on construction or large-scale industrial projects (Bulk Material Handling experience highly advantageous).
• Strong knowledge of logistics software and tools.
• Proven leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are beneficial.
• Ability to work on-site in a remote project environment.
• Immediate availability will be an advantage.
