About the job

Warehouse supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily warehouse operations, ensuring that all processes and procedures are followed according to regulatory requirements, and contractual customers' KPIs are met. The role requires a deep understanding of healthcare warehousing practices and regulations, as well as a strong ability to manage people, processes, and have a continuous improvement mindset.

Demonstrating high standards of process quality awareness, evaluate and develop process control strategies to improve operational performance with a zero error approach.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring that all processes and procedures are followed according to regulatory requirements and achieving customers' KPIs.
  • Manage and train warehouse staff, ensuring that they are following all safety protocols and standard operating procedures.
  • Foresee future challenges for the operations (e.g. seasonality) and proactively plan solutions.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Give and receive appropriate positive and constructive feedback.
  • Lead, guide, and coach warehouse team members, creating succession and embedding a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Schedule daily operational activities for the team, leveling the workload to achieve daily operational objectives by planning and allocating manpower resources.
  • Calculate and measure productivity for the team, ensuring customers' KPIs are met.
  • Overlook quality and safety aspects of operation, such as ensuring proper follow-through on SOPs, GDP compliance, carrying the quality and efficiency mindset into the operation.
  • Collaborate with other departments: Customer Service, Quality Assurance, Administration, Transportation to achieve daily operational goals.
  • Be responsible for the performance of the assigned team, ensuring on-time and compliant performance for the assigned customers.
  • Assist management team to develop, manage and monitor operational performance of the warehouse operations.
  • Take effective decisions timely and autonomously ensuring high operational standards and effectiveness.
  • Carry out specific assignments by your manager as required.

About you

Education: Secondary: Bachelor's degree in pharmacy, logistics, supply chain or related field is desirable.

Experience: 2-3 years of experience in pharmaceutical warehousing, including experience managing staff. Strong knowledge of local regulations and GDP (Good Distribution Practices).
