About the Role
The Management Accountant will support finance and office operations across the region. This role includes budget planning and EAC (Estimate at Completion) analysis, regulatory compliance, payroll coordination, and operational support.
Key Responsibilities- Budget & EAC Management
- Support budget preparation, monthly variance analysis, and forecasting for regional cost centres
- Track key budget components (e.g., discretionary spend) to monitor usage and control costs
- Collaborate with local offices to gather inputs, validate assumptions, and ensure alignment with company budget objectives
- Regulatory Reporting & Payroll Coordination
- Coordinate and support the central payroll team
- Ensure timely updates and compliance with local regulatory platforms including:
- Pensions
- Direct and indirect tax filings (e.g., EmaraTax)
- Operational Support
- Assist with document management for audits, licences, and regulatory requirements, including:
- Local authority audits
- Ministry of Labour
- Ministry of Human Resources
- Federal Tax Authority (FTA) audits in Abu Dhabi
- Support procurement and vendor coordination by working closely with the supply chain function
- Serve as a primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including accounting teams and government agencies
- Provide support to the in-country leadership team on business needs
- Handle ad hoc tasks as required
Required Skills & Experience
Essential- Strong hands-on experience and proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools
- Good knowledge of regional regulations and government compliance platforms
- Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic (both written and verbal)
- Ability to work cross-functionally and build effective working relationships
- Experience in a finance function within a complex or matrix organization
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
- Working knowledge of SAP
- Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- Candidates with 2–3 years of strong hands-on accounting experience will also be considered
- Contract Type: 12-month contractor (renewable based on project requirements)
- Working Hours: 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday, full-time)
