Synopsis
To give supervisory oversight in specific areas of the Abu Dhabi Airport Cargo Operation to deliver a superior experience and ensure the highest levels of safety. This team member will support and execute the delivery of the daily operation. The role works independently or as the leader of a small team to deliver against all performance and safety KPIs.
Accountabilities- Plan, update and supervise activities in order to ensure the safe and professional delivery of service for customers in line with the defined SLAs and quality standards.
- Drive employee engagement and a high-performance culture by being a role model that gives emphasis to empowerment, communication, quality, productivity, and goal attainment.
- Ensure that all SOPs are adhered to at all times both by yourself and your team members allowing for a safe and secure operation.
- Encourage consistency and collaboration by ensuring clear communication at all levels. This will include delivering team briefings and completion of relevant reports.
- Ensure that all documentation pertaining to the tasks performed are accurately completed.
- Lead and coordinate cargo handling operations, ensuring compliance with safety, security, and company policies.
- Ensure they operate safely in compliance with applicable procedures and instructions. Report safety, security and service occurrences, errors, hazards, and near misses utilizing the established reporting procedures.
- Manage daily activities related to cargo loading, unloading, and storage while implementing best practices.
- Monitor cargo performance metrics, driving operational excellence.
- Able to work and perform on a 24-hour shift pattern in all areas of cargo operations, adhering to all applicable protocols.
- Secondary/High school level education
- Minimum 3 years' experience in the relevant area
- Valid UAE Driving Licence (Airside Roles only)
