Summary
The Manager – Government Relations will be responsible for coordinating and managing all government-related processes, approvals, permits, and regulatory requirements for company projects. The role will ensure smooth liaison with relevant UAE governmental authorities while maintaining compliance with applicable regulations and supporting operational requirements across projects.
The Role- Coordinate project registration and licensing processes with relevant governmental entities in compliance with UAE regulations.
- Liaise with RERA and other authorities for project approvals, escrow-related matters, and regulatory submissions.
- Coordinate with internal finance teams regarding escrow-related documentation and payment approvals.
- Handle submission and follow-up of mortgage registration documentation at project and unit levels.
- Obtain marketing permits and required approvals from Dubai Land Department (DLD).
- Follow up on quarterly technical report submissions and related approvals with DLD.
- Coordinate and process NOCs and approvals from authorities including RTA, DDA, DEWA, Dubai Municipality, and other relevant entities.
- Facilitate exceptional permits and approvals required for project continuity and operational efficiency.
- Coordinate with survey companies regarding unit measurements, modifications, and compliance matters impacting the Mollak system.
- Support management and administration of Oqood user accounts and related registrations.
- Assist with regulatory requirements related to property management and service charge approvals.
- Handle submissions related to sales registrations, title registrations, and settlement agreements with DLD.
- Ensure all payment approvals and regulatory documentation are properly processed and maintained.
- Follow up on pending cases, approvals, and government-related matters to ensure timely resolution.
- Arrange and attend meetings with government authorities to discuss project requirements and operational matters.
- Coordinate requests for waivers, approvals, and exceptional cases with relevant authorities when required.
- Maintain strong working relationships with key governmental stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
- Support internal departments by providing guidance on government processes, documentation, and compliance requirements.
- Minimum Required Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Law, Public Administration, or related field.
- Average Years of Experience: Minimum 8 - 10 years of experience in Government Relations within the UAE real estate industry.
- Strong exposure to UAE government entities and regulatory authorities.
- Knowledge of UAE laws and regulatory processes related to real estate
- Good understanding of RERA, DLD, DEWA, DM, RTA, DDA, and other regulatory authorities
- Ability to manage multiple approvals and regulatory submissions efficiently
