Accountant (Contract)

Job Description

Our client is a leading multinational with operations across the Middle East, supporting offices in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Amman, Muscat, Basra, and Cairo.

About the Role:

As an Accounts Officer, I provide end-to-end accounting support across multiple regional offices, ensuring smooth financial operations, compliance, and accurate reporting aligned with corporate objectives.

Salary: AED 5000-7000

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide general accounting support for regional offices across the Middle East
• Process payments, invoices, vouchers, and related accounting transactions in line with company policies
• Support monthly closing activities and maintain accounting records accurately
• Handle petty cash management, payroll accounting, and banking transactions
• Assist in Corporate Tax compliance, bookkeeping updates, and transfer pricing requirements
• Prepare accounting reports and maintain proper documentation for audits and compliance
• Coordinate effectively with internal teams, banks, auditors, and external stakeholders
• Support administrative and finance-related tasks assigned by the management team

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Management
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar accounting role
• Experience working with multinational companies or regional operations is preferred
• Strong knowledge of MS Office, especially Advanced Excel
• Good communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and deadlines
