Job Purpose
Manage all day to day operations of Uniform Distribution Center This includes but is not limited to the issuances of uniform items to Group staff according to their company entitlements leading the inventory team to ensure stock levels are maintained and managed in accordance with PL policies and managing the relationship with the various user departments Job Outline Responsible for all measurements and issuance of stock Uniform items to all Emirates Staff as per staff entitlements while abiding by company standards Will arrange necessary adjustmentsalterations if required Review requisitions for the purchase of stock items to meet department demands in a timely manner Constantly monitor and follow up on the status of the items ordered with buyers and suppliers Lead the physical stock takes identifying and reconciling any discrepancies providing recommendations to the PL Manager for their approval and further discussion with Management Accounts Ensure that all UDC staff provide great customer service and understand the needs of the customers as well as any relevant department and be a positive representative of the Uniform stores Responsible for ensuring that stock levels are maintained efficiently to minimize stockholding costs through analyzing monthly cycle count inventory reports Identify and address daily operational problems and find solutions to make sure customers are satisfied and escalate issues to management when necessary Support with relevant projects as and when required under the scope of work of the Emirates Uniform Stores Establish and monitor objects for reporting staff ensuring they have a consistent workload are motivated and their reviews are completed on time
As a Supply Chain Warehouse Officer, you role is to administer all transactional and warehouse activities at the Distribution Centres/Uniform issue counters Ensure all policies and procedures are fulfilled while issuing items, with highest standard of customer service.Record transactional data accurately in inventory systems.
In This Role, You Will- Assist in maintaining stock levels at Just-In-Time (JIT) levels to minimize stockholding costs through analysis of store inventory reports.
- Ensure all stocks items are received in accordance to the purchase orders terms and conditions advising buys in the event of discrepancies to enable supplier feedback.
- Prepare requisitions for the purchase stock items to meet department demands in a timely manner. Constantly monitor and follow up on the status of items ordered with buyers and suppliers.
- Supervise the package and distribution of all items (uniforms/promotional and non-stock items) to outstations and promotional events as necessary. Book the shipment and advise delivery details to the departments for their collection and utilization.
- Assist in physical stock inventories identifying and reconciling any discrepancies providing recommendations for adjustment to the Uniform Distribution Centre (UDC) Coordinator/Inventory Officer for approval.
- Responsible for inspecting, verifying items as per approved sample. Ensure that the incoming materials are in good condition as per the specifications of the Company Standards.
- Supervise employees to ensure that they are continuously motivated and have a consistent workload.
- Identify customers&apos uniform needs, offer appropriate support and service to ensure employees receive their uniform as per their entitlement and as per the Company&aposs uniform guidelines.
- Pack and distribute all uniform items to each employee and ensure all packages are handed over as per Company Standards.
- Assist in the distribution of stock to departments, validation store requirements to ensure that the material is correctly identified and delivered in accordance with the department requirements.
Qualification
To be considered for this role, you must meet the below requirements.- 2+ years of experience in procurement or logistics
- General Distribution environment /Customer service environment, e.g. call-centre, service counter, complaint management, personal advice, etc.
- Minimum of 1+ yrs in Inventory Management, e.g. inventory control procedures, ensuring product stock, data entry and record keeping, etc. preferable in garment industry/ apparel textiles
- ORACLE ERP Systems experience is preferred. &L Requirement
