About the Role

Our client, a leading Sports Events organisation in Dubai specialising in planning and executing high-profile sporting events, is seeking an experienced Senior Business Development Manager to drive strategic partnerships, sponsorship sales, and revenue generation for premium sports events in the region.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong business development background, a proven track record of closing high-value deals, and an existing network of decision-makers in the UAE and GCC. Candidates from the real estate industry with a long-standing high-value network, or from the sports events sector, are highly preferred.

This role offers the opportunity to work at the heart of the sports and entertainment industry, contributing to some of the regions most prestigious and innovative events.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, engage, and secure corporate sponsors, partners, and advertisers for high-profile sports events.
• Leverage existing networks to build strategic, long-term partnerships with top-tier brands.
• Develop customized sponsorship proposals and ensure delivery of agreed activations.

• Design and execute sales plans to achieve revenue targets and maximize profitability.
• Negotiate high-value commercial agreements with C-level executives and brand stakeholders.
• Explore new revenue streams and monetization opportunities for sports events.

• Stay ahead of sports industry trends, sponsorship landscapes, and competitor activities.
• Represent the company at major sports, networking, and industry events to build brand presence.
• Continuously identify market opportunities to expand the companys sponsorship portfolio.

• Work closely with the events, operations, and marketing teams to ensure exceptional execution of sponsorship commitments.
• Maintain strong relationships with partners, ensuring maximum value and satisfaction.
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients, delivering ROI-driven solutions.

• 10+ years experience in business development, sponsorship sales, or partnerships within sports events, or real estate sectors.
• Established network of senior decision-makers in the UAE and GCC.
• Proven track record of closing large sponsorship deals and high-value partnerships.
• Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills.
• Strategic mindset with a strong understanding of sports event sponsorship models.
• Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline.
