We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and strategic commercial leader to join our NPSD (Network Passenger Sales Development) team as Vice President Leisure & Commercial Segments.
The Vice President Leisure and Commercial Segments defines, develops, and executes the global strategy for Emirates Leisure and Commercial Segments travel. Maximise market share and revenue optimisation, working with online travel agencies (OTAs) and key sectors.Drive growth to ensure competitive positioning, enhanced customer experiences, and optimised revenue.
In this role, you will:
- Formulate and execute Emirates global strategy for leisure and commercial segments, identifying global trends, influences, and strategic global partners to secure Emirates position as part of their ecosystems.
- Implement strategy to enhance the customer experience in key industries across various sectors, e.g. marine and cruise industries, maximising revenue, Emirates competitive position, and customer loyalty.
- Lead the creation of the Leisure Travel Centre of Excellence to further guide and support local operations and teams to help secure business, create local client portfolios, and achieve healthy segment KPIs.
- Drive revenue-generating initiatives, refine existing product offerings, and explore new business opportunities through effective partnerships with travel agencies, online travel platforms, and key global online travel agencies (OTAs).
- Identify and implement global best practices across the leisure and commercial segments to position Emirates at the industry forefront and consistently deliver exceptional travel experiences.
Qualifications & experience
To be considered for the role, you must meet the below requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or honours with 12+ years' experience in commercial or sales.
- Degree in commercial disciplines with emphasis on business, marketing, and sales.
- Experience in an airline, travel management company (TMC), tour operator, or service industry at a senior level, including experience in developing and implementing strategic marketing plans at a corporate level.
- Comprehensive understanding of all functions within passenger sales.
- In-depth knowledge of the airline industry, global distribution channels, and commercial airline strategy, including revenue optimisation and sales.
- Executive stakeholder management expertise and strong organisational awareness.
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills across all levels and external industries such as consultancy, travel, transportation, airline, and hospitality.
