Job summary / Role description
The Mechanical Supervisor u2013 Piping (PIS) is responsible for the coordination of mechanical construction for piping activities.
Activities and main responsibilities- Direct the management of mechanical subcontractor(s) for piping;
- Guarantee the quality of the works and their compliance with the contractual and engineering requirements of the project, satisfying the assigned budget, time schedule, quality, safety, and environmental standards;
- Ensure that subcontractor performances are carefully monitored in terms of schedule, quality, and cost;
- Coordinate all necessary recovery actions whenever deviations from schedule or specifications are detected, under the guidance of the Mechanical Piping Superintendent;
- Participate in the elaboration of work schedules, collect progress data, and analyze any deviations;
- Ensure the implementation of all HSE procedures and standards for the areas or activities under responsibility (including subcontractors);
- Directly participate in HSE activities at site as defined for the PIS position in the Site HSE plan and related procedures.
