Role Description The Insurance Agent is responsible for advising clients on suitable life, health, savings, and protection products that address their individual and business needs. Day-to-day activities include meeting prospective and existing clients, assessing their financial and protection objectives, presenting tailored insurance solutions, and explaining policy features, benefits, and terms in a clear and transparent manner.The role involves preparing proposals, processing applications, following up on documentation, and supporting clients through underwriting, policy issuance, and servicing. The Insurance Agent will also engage in business development activities such as networking, participating in events, and maintaining strong relationships with corporate partners and intermediaries.
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates, requiring consistent in-person collaboration with clients and team members.
Qualifications- Strong client relationship and communication skills, including the ability to explain complex insurance concepts clearly and build long-term trust with diverse customers.
- Sales and business development capabilities, such as prospecting, lead management, negotiation, and closing, preferably within insurance or financial services.
- Analytical and advisory skills to assess client needs, evaluate risk, and recommend appropriate insurance and investment solutions aligned with regulatory and company guidelines.
- Organizational and administrative skills to manage documentation, policy applications, follow-ups, and accurate record-keeping in line with compliance standards.
- Relevant experience in insurance, banking, or financial advisory is highly preferred, especially within the Gulf region.
- Knowledge of insurance products and basic financial planning principles; professional certifications in insurance or financial services are an advantage.
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field is preferred; equivalent professional experience may be considered.
- Fluency in English required; proficiency in Arabic or additional languages in the region is a plus.
- Demonstrated integrity, customer-centric mindset, and the ability to work in a regulated environment following company policies and data privacy requirements.
