Insurance Officer - Casualty & Financial Lines

Job Description
Key Responsibilities- Underwrite new and renewal Casualty & Financial Lines risks within delegated authority limits
- Manage casualty policy renewals and liability quotations, including TPL/EL
- Analyze financial statements, risk profiles, contractual terms, and market conditions
- Prepare underwriting proposals, quotations, terms, conditions, and recommendations
- Coordinate with reinsurers on renewals, new business, premium negotiations, and reinsurance support
- Arrange FAC inward policies and support fronting policies
- Review policy wordings, endorsements, and special terms
- Monitor portfolio performance, loss ratios, and exposure accumulations
- Support brokers, clients, and internal stakeholders
- Manage policy documentation, issuance, NOC issuance, and customer onboarding
- Ensure compliance with internal guidelines, reinsurance requirements, and local insurance regulations
- Mentor intermediate underwriters and participate in audits, peer reviews, and underwriting committees
- Contribute to process improvements, product development, and underwriting best practices
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Risk Management, Insurance, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in Casualty and Financial Lines
- Proven experience within FGA / Fire & General Accident or similar specialty lines
- Strong experience in TPL/EL, casualty renewals, liability quotations, and underwriting
- Experience with reinsurance, FAC inward, and fronting policies
- Familiarity with UAE insurance regulations and market practices
- Experience with underwriting systems and reporting tools
- ACII, CPCU, or equivalent professional qualification is preferred
- Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken is required
