Job Description

Technical Design Engineer – Cable Manufacturing

We are currently looking for an experienced Technical Design Engineer with strong expertise in cable design, technical calculations, and manufacturing support within the cable manufacturing industry.

Key Responsibilities

✔️ Design standard and special cables as per customer requirements and international standards

✔️ Prepare technical designs and drawings using AutoCAD

✔️ Perform electrical and mechanical calculations for cable design

✔️ Support competitive tendering with a cost-effective technical solution

✔️ Coordinate with internal teams on product development and manufacturing requirements

✔️ Create and maintain technical designs in the SAP/ERP system

✔️ Support new product and material development initiative

✔️ Review and schedule production approvals for the first-time manufacturing item

✔️ Train and guide junior staff on cable design and SAP processes

Requirement

✔️ Degree in Electrical Engineering

✔️ Minimum 3+ years of experience in cable testing/design within the cable manufacturing industry

✔️ Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and SAP/ERP systems

✔️ Good understanding of cable manufacturing processes and international specifications

✔️ Strong communication, analytical, and time management skills
