Job Purpose
You will be instrumental in shaping the strategic direction, optimizing operations, and driving significant growth across multiple NVOCC entities. This is an exceptional opportunity to lead from the front and contribute to the continued success of the region's fastest-growing maritime company.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement overarching growth strategies for the NVOCC division, encompassing diverse brands with unique value propositions.
- Manage and guide the individual NVOCC brands under your leadership, ensuring operational excellence and financial performance optimization.
- Foster a collaborative environment, promoting knowledge sharing and synergy across the multi-brand NVOCC portfolio.
- Build and cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, including shipping lines, partners, and government entities, leveraging brand strengths for enhanced competitive advantage.
- Negotiate and secure the most favourable rates and contracts, for leasing and purchasing boxes ensuring profitability across all NVOCC brands.
- Identify and implement innovative strategies to leverage brand differentiation and drive market share expansion.
- Attract, develop, and retain top talent, building high-performing NVOCC teams across the brands.
- Manage risk comprehensively, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory frameworks.
- Monitor industry trends, analyse market data, and identify new opportunities for growth and diversification within the NVOCC landscape.
- Prepare insightful reports and presentations, articulating the performance and potential of the multi-brand NVOCC division to senior management.
- Represent the NVOCC division at industry events, conferences, and business meetings.
- Monitoring & managing the containers maximum turnaround.
- Managing and budgeting the repair estimates for the boxes
- Monitoring the agencies for quick turnaround of boxes.
- Minimum 12 years of experience in the shipping industry, with a proven track record of success in leading and growing NVOCC businesses.
- Extensive experience in managing and developing multiple brands within a group environment.
- Fluency in English, Arabic preferred.
- Deep understanding of international trade regulations and maritime law.
- Exceptional leadership and strategic thinking skills, with a focus on fostering collaboration and teamwork.
- Proven ability to achieve ambitious business goals and navigate complex operational challenges.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport across diverse stakeholders.
- Financial acumen and experience in managing budgets and P&Ls.
- Excellent analytical and data-driven decision-making capabilities.
