Role Purpose:
The Facility Management Coordinator ensures the efficient operation, safety, and maintenance of company premises, including warehouses and showrooms. The role involves managing service requests, coordinating with vendors, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and supporting the Group Facilities Manager in executing facility-related strategies.
Key responsibilities:
Facility Operations & Maintenance- Coordinate maintenance activities across all locations.
- Monitor service requests and ensure timely closure within SLA.
- Oversee preventive maintenance schedules for buildings and equipment.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify and address maintenance needs.
- Respond promptly to emergency repair calls.
- Liaise with vendors and service providers to ensure quality and timely work delivery.
- Review and verify the execution of awarded contracts.
- Assign and follow up on tasks with technicians, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Ensure adherence to building safety standards and HSE protocols.
- Develop and implement emergency action plans and evacuation procedures.
- Test and monitor security systems to maintain a safe working environment.
- Manage facility-related assets, including office equipment, furniture, telecom, and security systems.
- Supervise scheduled cleaning and disinfection activities.
- Track facility-related expenses and support budget control.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
- Provide regular operational updates to the Group Facilities Manager.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in facility coordination or property maintenance.
- Bachelor&aposs or Associate degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (preferred).
- Valid UAE Driving License.
- Familiarity with CAFM or ticketing systems.
- Knowledge of building safety regulations and HSE practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Facility management certification and data analytics experience are added advantages.
