PRESENTATION:

From Claire Joster, an Executive Search firm, we are recruiting a Senior Controller Retail - Expat, to join a multinational fashion retail company based in Dubai.

ORGANIZATION:

As a Senior Retail Controller you will report directly to the Head of Controlling, and will work closely with the Managing Director.

FUNCTIONS:

• Budgeting & Forecasting: Act as a bridge between Finance and Buying teams to align purchasing plans with financial targets. Monitor sales performance and adjust forecasts accordingly.
• Buying & Planning: Develop and maintain internal tools for collection planning, ensure accurate SKU data, and track purchase orders and logistics costs.
• Pricing Strategy: Define and implement pricing strategies with the Brand Director, analyze impact on margins and coordinate price changes with local teams.
• Reporting & Analysis: Create and manage commercial reports and KPIs to support strategic decisions. Ensure consistency of data across departments.
• Supplier Management: Negotiate payment terms, follow up on documentation, and communicate new operational requirements to suppliers.
• IT Collaboration: Work with IT teams in Dubai and Russia to implement and improve systems and reporting tools.
• Strategic Support: Assist the Brand Director with initiatives such as leftover stock sales, marketplace launches, and cross-category scenario analysis.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in financial controlling or business analysis.
• Previous experience in the fashion retail sector is essential.
• Experience in companies such as Inditex or similar fast-fashion environments is highly valued.
• Languages: Fluent in English and Spanish (both written and spoken).
• Willingness to relocate to Dubai and work in an international team.

OFFER:

• Annual net salary: Between 60,000 and 75,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
