Recruiting for a PA Financial Analyst to support the Marine Systems business. This role will play a key role within the finance team and will be visible to the whole organization.
In this role, you will be responsible for the build, integration and maintenance of reporting and analytics. You will also support the development standard financial planning practices, across business segments and help consolidate the multi-site financials.The role requires someone who can support the PA Controller with financial reporting and analysis; managing PA wide projects and system implementations; as well as bolster PG regional organizations in statutory reporting, process improvement and compliance.
About The Job- Coordinate financial reporting in the PA, coordinating with the respective PG and utilization of Financial Shared Services
- Track CAPEX and restructuring projects in the organization
- Support PA Controller in ensuring internal control processes are aligned within the Business Unit and follow Group principles
- Responsible for accurate and timely reporting, by assisting in the consolidation and analysis of reporting of actuals, budgets, and forecasts for the full set of financials
- Working with regional, and cross-functional teams to prepare detailed variance analysis and pricing reports
- Assist in the preparation of the LE forecasting, by working with the project teams to ensure accurate timing of project reporting and also understand what has moved and why
- Develop and refine reports for tracking financial performance for decision makers; identify business correction opportunities to positively impact results
- Ensuring the correct and selected revenue recognition is used, working with project team to ensure that the revenue is accrued, the correct costs are associated with projects
- Ad-hoc analysis and reporting as required
- University diploma with a bachelor&aposs degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5+ years in manufacturing accounting as a financial controller
- Proficient in English (language skills an advantage)
- Proven experience in operational transactions
- Professional qualification preferred (CFA)
- Knowledgeable in use of ERP systems such as SAP or Microsoft Dynamics
- Experience with working in an international company with remote offices using IFRS is a plus
- Highly analytical skills including utilization of BI and reporting tools
- Strong quantitative abilities; able to tackle complex problems
- Budgeting
- Excellent Communication skills ; Positive relationship builder; Strong influencing and social skills
- High level of commercial acumen and presenting skills
- Effective time management with ability to effectively prioritize
