Billing Solution Architect (BSCS)
Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Telecom Billing Solution Architect with strong expertise in Ericsson BSCS to join our Billing Development team. The ideal candidate will bring deep knowledge of telecom billing processes, BSCS configurations, and Oracle PL/SQL development, and will play a key role in designing, implementing, and supporting robust billing solutions in production environments.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective billing solutions
Design high-level and low-level architectures for billing and reporting systems
Configure and customize Ericsson BSCS Billing System, including CMS commands
Develop and optimize Oracle SQL and PL/SQL scripts with a focus on performance and reliability
Work closely with production systems, handling deployments, troubleshooting, and issue investigations
Prepare and maintain technical documentation and solution designs
Support implementation, deployment preparation, and unit testing
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery
Mandatory Skills & Experience
5+ years of experience in the telecom billing domain
Strong hands-on experience with Ericsson BSCS Billing System
In-depth knowledge of billing processes, BSCS configurations, and CMS commands
Proven experience working in production environments
Strong expertise in Oracle PL/SQL, SQL query optimization, performance tuning, and troubleshooting
Experience with shell scripting (Bash, KornShell, Bourne Shell)
Ability to analyze complex business requirements and propose scalable billing solutions
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent
Nice to Have
Working knowledge of Java for supporting existing applications
Exposure to microservices architecture and REST APIs
Experience in large-scale telecom BSS/OSS environments
