Project Manager - RPA & PowerApps

Job Description

Our client based in Dubai, is one of the largest semi-governmental companies in the region.

This position is a contract role with an initial duration of 12 months and renewable.

Key responsibilities:

Project Management:

• Plan, initiate and execute RPA projects, including defining project scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines.
• Track project progress and ensure alignment with business objectives and timelines.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

• Partner with business stakeholders to identify automation opportunities and work closely with technical teams to design, develop, and implement RPA solutions using UiPath.

Technical Leadership:

• Provide technical expertise in RPA methodologies and UiPath, guiding the team to develop high-quality automation solutions that improve efficiency and reduce costs and maintain the RPA environment and make sure it is always up to date.

Solution Development and Integration:

• Leverage UiPath to design and deploy automated workflows.
• Integrate RPA solutions with other business applications and systems, including Microsoft PowerApps, to create user-friendly interfaces and automate repetitive tasks.

Quality Assurance:

• Ensure all RPA processes meet quality and compliance standards. Oversee testing, troubleshooting, and the resolution of any issues during development and post-implementation.

Operational Oversight:

• Manage the daily operations of RPA and PowerApps solutions, ensuring that all automated processes function smoothly and efficiently.
• Oversee scheduling, execution, and monitoring of RPA workflows to maintain system stability and performance.

Support and Incident Management:

• Act as the primary point of contact for escalations related to RPA issues, managing incidents and working closely with IT and support teams to ensure timely issue resolution.
• Lead root cause analysis and preventive measures for recurring issues.

Vendor and Tool Management:

• Manage relationships with vendors and tool providers, including UiPath and Microsoft PowerApps, to stay informed about new features, updates, and best practices.
• Oversee software updates and ensure all RPA tools are functioning optimally.

Compliance and Security:

• Ensure all RPA processes comply with security, data privacy, and compliance standards.
• Develop and enforce RPA governance policies to safeguard data integrity and minimize risks.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Create comprehensive documentation for RPA solutions and maintain project documentation.
• Provide regular status updates, performance reports, and project insights to stakeholders.

Continuous Improvement:

• Monitor automation performance and analyze results, identifying opportunities for optimization.
• Stay updated on RPA and PowerApps trends to ensure solutions leverage the latest capabilities and best practices.

Knowledge, skills & experience:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in RPA project management, with expertise in UiPath.
• Proven experience with Microsoft PowerApps for building custom applications and workflows.
• Strong project management skills, including experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Analytical mindset with a strong ability to problem-solve and think strategically.
• Certifications in UiPath (UiPath Advanced RPA Developer or RPA Business Analyst).
• Familiarity with Microsoft Power Automate and other Microsoft Power Platform components.
