Sales Trader / Institutional Sales (Global Markets)

Our client, a rapidly expanding financial services firm, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Trader to drive revenue growth and expand their client base across the Middle East, Asia, and beyond. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial markets, particularly in FX and equity products, and will be adept at building and maintaining client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute sales strategies to acquire new clients and drive revenue growth in targeted regions.
• Provide and source liquidity in FX and equity products, ensuring optimal execution for clients.
• Build and maintain long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with clients, including hedge funds, high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and smaller institutions.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support commercial planning and performance management.
• Stay abreast of global and regional financial regulations, ensuring compliance and risk management protocols are upheld.
• Monitor market trends and provide clients with relevant insights and recommendations.
• Report directly to the SEO and CEO, providing regular updates on sales performance and market developments.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of sales or business development experience in finance, trading, or fintech, with a proven track record of client acquisition and revenue generation.
• Demonstrated experience in providing and sourcing liquidity in FX and/or equity products.
• Strong understanding of global and regional financial regulations, compliance standards, and risk management protocols, particularly within the Middle East and Asia.
• Exceptional sales, negotiation, business development, and relationship management skills.
• Proactive and dynamic approach to identifying, engaging, and closing deals with new clients.
• Existing transferable client base is a strong advantage; however, the ability to independently acquire and onboard new clients is essential
