Principal engineer in wet utilities

Within our infrastructure department you will lead high-profile projects, ensure technical excellence, and maintain strong client relationships. You will provide strategic direction, mentor junior engineers, and drive the successful delivery of complex infrastructure projects.

• Lead the design and implementation of wet utilities for various projects ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
• Develop and maintain strong productive client relationships serving as the primary point of contact for major projects.
• Provide expert technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
• Prepare and review detailed technical specifications, drawings, and documentation ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
• Manage project budgets, resources, and schedules ensuring optimal utilization and financial performance.
• Provide regular reports on project status, technical performance, and team development to senior management.
• Prepare reports, calculations, and design documentation.
• Prepare design using Civil 3D software for BIM environment.
• Manage infrastructure projects supporting senior engineers and project leaders in delivering successful outcomes.

• Bacheloru2019s degree in civil engineering or related engineering field. Masteru2019s degree preferred.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent certification.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in wet utilities with a proven track record of leading complex projects.
• Extensive experience in design of wet utilities including potable water, sewer, storm, irrigation, district cooling, and firefighting.
• Working knowledge of relevant software packages like EPANET, WaterCAD, InfoWorks, SewerCAD, StormCAD, and SWMM.
• Experience and familiarity with the following programs are a plus: ArcGIS, MicroStation, MicroDrainage, HAMMER.
• In-depth knowledge of industry standards, codes, and regulations.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
