Interior Designer Construction Manager (site base)

Job Description

You will be responsible for overseeing construction processes, coordinating with design and construction teams, and ensuring that high standards of quality and aesthetics are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.

• Manage on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with design specifications and quality standards
• Review and approve shop drawings, material selections, and installation methods
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and subcontractors to facilitate smooth project operations
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues promptly
• Ensure that all work is completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of clients
• Communicate effectively with all stakeholders to manage expectations and resolve conflicts
• Maintain detailed records of construction progress, materials used, and any changes to plans
• Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations and building codes on-site
• Assist in problem-solving and decision-making related to construction challenges
• Promote and uphold AHS's standards of excellence in design and customer service

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in interior design and construction management, preferably in luxury residential projects
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple projects on-site
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams
• Proficiency in design and construction software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and building codes
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and documents
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project conditions
• Certification in construction management (e.g., CCM, PMP) is a plus
