Nursery Manager - Abu Dhabi

Description

We are looking for an experienced female nursery manager to lead our nursery operations in Dubai. As the nursery manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and smooth functioning of the nursery facility.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all daily activities, staff, and facilities of the nursery
• Implement the educational programs and curriculum activities as per guidelines
• Lead, manage, and motivate the team of nursery nurses and support staff
• Ensure nursery policies, procedures, and UAE standards of care are maintained
• Observe children/u2019s progress and prepare developmental reports
• Communicate with parents about their child/u2019s progress and any concerns
• Maintain a safe, hygienic, and stimulating environment for the children
• Manage budgets, supplies, payments, enrollment records as per regulations
• Hire and train nursery staff while adhering to Emiratization quotas
• Keep up-to-date with developments in early childhood education and safety norms in the UAE

Requirements:

• Female candidate (due to UAE childcare regulations)
• Diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education
• Masters in Early Childhood preferred
• At least 5 years in a Nursery Management role
• Experience of managing a nursery in the GCC is preferred
• Outstanding leadership, communication and organizational abilities
• In-depth knowledge of nursery operations and child development
• A nurturing personality with a passion for early years education
• Ability to work comfortably within a multicultural environment
• Fluency in English and Arabic preferred
• Willingness to work flexible hours as a Nursery Manager

• Minimum Qualification Requirement: M.Ed, B.Ed or a relevant Bachelor's Degree with a Teaching Qualification
• Experience: 2 years

• Must be western trained (USA, Canada, UK, Scotland, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand & South Africa)
• Must be a native speaker of English
• Newly qualified teachers are not considered
• Prefer candidates with international experience
• Open University qualification(s) are not accepted
• Experienced teachers with no qualification are not accepted

Additional:

• Your bachelor's degree must be in Early Childhood
• Having a Master's is beneficial to your application
• Experience of teaching in the Middle East is beneficial to your application
• Offering a secondary subject would help your application
• Single teachers or teaching couples with no children are preferred

Remuneration Package

Salary range: Salary is negotiable based on experience and qualification, tax free.
