MEP Site Engineer

Job Description

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supervise, manage, and coordinate Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works at the project site.
• Review and interpret MEP drawings, technical specifications and installation details.
• Ensure MEP works are carried out in accordance with project requirements, approved drawings, and applicable standards.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, and other site engineers for smooth execution of works.
• Monitor site progress, quality, and safety compliance on a daily basis.
• Attend and conduct site inspections, testing and commissioning of MEP systems.
• Raise RFI, technical queries, and manage snag lists until rectification and approval.
• Liaise with QA/QC teams to ensure inspection requests (IRs) and material submittals are aligned with project timelines.
• Support in procurement coordination, material tracking, and site logistics for MEP items.
• Prepare and maintain daily site reports, progress updates, and documentation.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or related field).
• Minimum 7+ years of MEP site engineering experience, with UAE project experience mandatory.
• Must have worked with reputable construction companies in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of UAE building codes, DEWA, DCD, and other authority regulations.
• Excellent coordination, technical, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments.
• Must be currently residing in the UAE and available to join immediately.
