Business Development Manager (Logistics)

Job Description

Our client, a logistics service provider is looking for a Business Development Manager to be based in Dubai.

Reports To: Managing Director

Working Days / Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM 6:00 PM

Position Summary:

The role demands an energetic and personable professional who can quickly build rapport, grow business relationships, and help expand our client base.

This position offers a hybrid working model and flexible work arrangements, which are directly tied to the achievement of monthly sales targets and performance outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive new business acquisition in the freight forwarding and logistics sector (Air, Ocean, and Land freight).
• Maintain and grow existing client relationships through strategic engagement and follow-ups.
• Achieve monthly/quarterly KPIs and sales targets as defined by the company.
• Prepare and submit sales reports and client updates in line with company reporting standards.
• Represent the company professionally during client meetings, presentations, and events.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth service delivery and client satisfaction.

Key Requirements:

Languages:

• Mandatory: English
• Preferred: Arabic or Turkish

Experience:

• Proven B2B sales experience in freight forwarding/logistics/shipping
• Existing client portfolio or strong sales track record in the region

Technical Skills:

• Proficient in computer applications required to track KPIs and complete mandatory company reporting
