About the Role
The post holder will play a key part in the Recruitment, Marketing, and Admissions teams, ensuring smooth processes, induction activities, and other operational procedures, while remaining flexible to support leads from enquiry to applicant and ultimately to enrollment across all Programmes in the region.Reporting to the Student Recruitment Manager, the role involves developing and implementing plans and strategies for undergraduate, MBA, and other Programmes in the Middle East through multiple channels, including public relations, events, and recruitment activities.
Responsibilities
Recruitment- Handle and follow up on enquiries generated from various marketing activities, building a strong pipeline of applications; provide counseling to enquirers from walk-ins, emails, phone calls, and outreach/recruitment activities, with follow-up through to conversion.
- Counsel prospects with a focus on converting high-quality applications to meet targets.
- Monitor and continuously improve the conversion ratio through ongoing analysis and refinement of approaches.
- Diligently follow up with applicants to ensure all application requirements are completed and deadlines are met.
- Maintain accurate records for each student in the Dynamics 365 CRM and the Student Records System (SRS) and register students in Campus Solutions.
- Travel to events (Middle East region and overseas) to attend exhibitions, meetings, and trainings.
- Generate and maintain a healthy enquiry pipeline from marketing activities and provide timely counselling as needed.
- Produce statistics on leads, applications, offers, deferrals, payments, and new student cohorts.
- Prepare and deliver weekly reports detailing leads, applications, and payment statuses.
- Represent the branch at open days, fairs, exhibitions, and events, counselling prospective students in various on- and off-campus settings.
- Facilitate pre-departure preparation for students as part of campus recruitment efforts.
- Review and process applications promptly, prioritizing exceptional customer service.
- Preparation of all pre and post event activities.
- Plan & co-ordinate all aspects of events logistics such as venue search and management, exhibition planning, caterers & equipment hire.
- Organize any speakers or special guests as and when needed.
- Preparing delegate packs and documents for all events.
- As a part of Crossfunctional Collaboration - Will engage with individuals from various departments, such as marketing, operations, finance, student support, careers alumni, to integrate CSR practices into the organizations overall strategy.
- Support and execute the Centres Social Responsibility value driven initiatives.
- Any other special projects as assigned by the Centre Director.
- Monitor and continually explore ways to improve and implement corrective measures where needed and highlight areas of opportunities within the department for improvements.
- Suggesting measures for sustainable practices of the environmental aspects of business operations, conduct audits, and provide recommendations for implementing sustainable strategies.
- Have a good standard of education, preferably at postgraduate degree level in marketing or related field.
- Good command in both spoken and written English.
- Have relevant marketing experience in advertising, web, PR and copywriting in the education sector.
- Have the ability to work strategically, tactically and creatively to meet agreed and set objectives and recruitment targets.
- Possess exceptional marketing communications skills with the ability to write persuasively.
- Ability to work under pressure with a tenacious approach to problem solving.
- Self-motivated with a positive can do attitude and the ability to manage own workload.
- Have IT skills with experience of using online marketing packages.
- Able to deal effectively with student customers, using tact and sensitivity whenever necessary.
- Willingness to undergo training in response to changing office technology/routines or in order to develop themselves.
- A commitment to on-going personal and professional development.
- Ability to deal tactfully and sensitively with confidential information, and awareness of implications of the Data Protection Act.
- Some out-of-hours working will be required.
- Experience of working sensitively with people from different cultural backgrounds.
- Good level of tolerance and perseverance to perform consistently in a semester to achieve high targets.
- Minimum 3 years experience in marketing, adult education, familiarity with Middle East and GCC Markets.
- Be motivated, efficient, mature, independent, outgoing, can work under pressure and attentive to details.
- Good communication, presentation skills and willing to travel and flexible working overtime.
Pay range and compensation package
Up to AED 13000
