Sales Director (Construction Materials & Industrial Sector)
Job Description
LHH Middle East is partnering with a regional holding company to appoint its next Sales Director based in Dubai, UAE.
We are seeking a Sales Director to lead the commercial strategy, drive revenue growth, and strengthen key customer relationships across the construction and industrial sectors within a diversified manufacturing and engineering group.
This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for aligning sales execution across multiple business units, including steel, aluminum, prefab, PVC membranes, industrial manufacturing, and temporary structures.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Leadership- Develop and execute group-wide sales strategy
- Lead and develop regional and segment sales teams
- Set targets, forecasts, and KPIs
- Drive accountability and performance culture
- Own annual revenue plan and pipeline governance
- Approve pricing frameworks, discounts, and bid/no-bid decisions
- Co-sign contracts above defined thresholds (with CEO/CFO)
- Ensure revenue quality (margin, risk, collectability)
- Identify opportunities across construction, infrastructure, and industrial sectors
- Lead major bids, tenders, and contract negotiations
- Build strong relationships with key accounts and strategic partners
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity
- Deliver revenue, margin, and growth targets
- Ensure accurate forecasting and CRM discipline
- Improve cash collection and working capital performance
- Drive revenue diversification across sectors and geographies
- Align with Marketing on campaigns and positioning
- Work with Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance to support execution
- Provide market intelligence to support innovation and strategy
Qualifications and Experience:
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- 15+ years of sales experience in construction/industrial sectors
- 5+ years in senior sales leadership roles
- Proven track record of revenue growth in complex B2B environments
- Strong experience with large-scale projects and contract negotiations
- MBA or advanced commercial qualification
- Experience in EPC, industrial manufacturing, or construction materials
- Strong understanding of procurement in construction/industrial sectors
