Job Summary
Assistant The E-commerce & IT Operations Manager will support the E-commerce & IT
Operations Manager in overseeing day-to-day e-commerce platform activities and IT operations.
This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate
between various teams to ensure smooth business operations, timely problem-solving, and
continuous improvement of systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in managing the daily operations of the e-commerce platform, including product
listings, inventory updates, and order processing.
Support IT operations including troubleshooting, system monitoring, and coordinating
maintenance activities.
Collaborate with marketing, logistics, customer service, and IT teams to ensure seamless
operational workflows.
Help monitor website performance and analytics to identify areas for improvement.
Assist with vendor and third-party service provider communications and management.
Maintain accurate documentation of processes, technical issues, and resolutions.
Assist with system upgrades, testing new software or features, and training end-users.
Support inventory control and stock reconciliation processes.
Prepare reports and presentations for management on operational metrics and IT
performance.
Help enforce data security and compliance policies.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelors degree in, Information Technology or related field preferred.- 3 years experience in e-commerce operations, IT support, or related roles.
Basic understanding of e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify,) and IT infrastructure.
Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently.
Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy.
Knowledge of basic IT troubleshooting and support.
Familiarity with digital marketing concepts is a plus.
