Currently House of Shipping is recruiting for Global Process Excellence Lead for a Leading global freight forwarding company.
Job Purpose:
Lead the global standardization, optimization, and continuous improvement of freight forwarding processes to enhance operational efficiency, data integration, and business performance. Ensure alignment between business operations, IT systems, and the Global Service Centre, supporting global scalability and competitiveness.
Key Responsibilities- Process Standardization & Improvement
- Conduct end-to-end process discovery, mapping, and simulation using BPM tools.
- Develop and implement global process standards and SOPs across regions.
- Ensure processes are scalable, compliant with regulations, and consistently documented.
- Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to document workflows and design optimized solutions.
- Facilitate workshops and training to drive adoption and continuous improvement.
- Liaise with regional leaders to accommodate local needs within global frameworks.
- Continuous Improvement & Innovation
- Identify areas for improvement using data analytics and performance metrics.
- Design innovative process solutions, including automation and digitization initiatives.
- Lead deployment of Business Excellence self-assessments in line with corporate standards.
- Change Management & Training
- Partner with teams to manage change and ensure successful implementation of new processes.
- Deliver training and build internal capabilities for process excellence and mapping.
- Lead communication plans for change adoption.
- Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Develop frameworks for real-time KPI tracking and process monitoring.
- Ensure data-driven decision-making to improve process quality and efficiency.
- Enhance use of CargoWise for operational visibility and data management.
- Leadership
- Lead a dedicated team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Represent process requirements to IT and ensure e2e process alignment.
- Engage with senior management and regularly report on improvement outcomes.
- Process Efficiency: Reduced cycle times, bottlenecks, and standardized operations.
- Documentation Quality: Timely, accurate SOPs aligned with global standards.
- Compliance: Regional adherence to global SOPs; positive audit results.
- Implementation Success: On-time, in-scope project delivery and adoption.
- Change Management: High stakeholder engagement, successful trainings.
- Cost & Efficiency Gains: Measurable cost reductions and productivity improvements.

- Bachelor's degree in Business, SCM, Logistics, or related field (Master's preferred).
- 810 years in process improvement within logistics or freight forwarding.
- Experience with BPM tools, process standardization, and back-office service models.
- Familiarity with CargoWise and analytics/reporting platforms.
