Senior Investment Analyst

Job Description

I am currently hiring a Senior Investment Analyst – Fixed Income to join my clients financial services organisation, based in Dubai.

The Senior Investment Analyst will be responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and monitoring investment opportunities within a financial services environment, with a primary focus on Fixed Income markets. The role involves conducting detailed credit analysis, portfolio monitoring, and market research, as well as producing investment recommendations to support portfolio performance and strategic asset allocation decisions.

• Source, analyse, and evaluate fixed income investment opportunities across sovereign, corporate, and credit markets.
• Conduct detailed credit analysis, including assessment of issuers, ratings, spreads, yield curves, and risk-adjusted returns.
• Monitor and manage fixed income portfolios, including performance tracking, attribution analysis, and ongoing risk assessment.
• Support trade execution processes and liaise with brokers, banks, and counterparties.
• Maintain ongoing monitoring of macroeconomic and market conditions, including interest rates, inflation trends, central bank policy, and geopolitical developments.
• Produce investment research, reports, and recommendations to support portfolio positioning and asset allocation decisions.
• Identify investment themes and opportunities within global and regional fixed income markets.

• Strong experience in fixed income markets
• Strong understanding of credit analysis, bond valuation, yield curves, and macroeconomic drivers.
• Experience analysing sovereign and/or corporate debt instruments.
• Experience in portfolio monitoring, performance analysis, and investment reporting.
• Understanding of risk management principles within fixed income investing.
• Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related discipline (CFA qualification or progress preferred).
