Our client, a prestigious government entity based in Abu Dhabi, is seeking an IT Operations Manager to join their growing technology team. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of all IT systems and services.The ideal candidate will oversee IT infrastructure, manage day-to-day support operations, and drive strategic technology initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and service excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute IT operational strategies aligned with business objectives
- Oversee daily IT infrastructure, systems, and network performance, ensuring minimal disruptions
- Lead IT projects including infrastructure setup, network upgrades, and security enhancements
- Supervise IT support teams and ensure effective service desk operations
- Manage vendor relationships and IT operations contracts, including evaluations and negotiations
- Drive the implementation of IT service management processes and documentation standards
- Collaborate with business units to align technology solutions with user needs
- Monitor and manage IT budgets and resource utilization efficiently
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in IT operations or infrastructure management roles
- Strong knowledge of ITIL frameworks, cybersecurity practices, and network/system administration
- Proven experience in project and vendor management
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, Microsoft, Cisco, CompTIA) are a plus
