Job Description
Position Summary:
The role is responsible for overseeing all financial, accounting, procurement, contracting, and administrative functions within FAA. This includes ensuring full compliance with established financial policies, local and international standards, and best practices.The position also involves the development and implementation of streamlined administrative processes and procedures to support organizational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to shaping and executing FAAs overall strategic direction in alignment with its mission and objectives.
- Develop and lead the Finance and Procurement strategy and translate it into actionable operational plans, in line with sector leadership guidance and FAAs long-term goals.
- Oversee the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of financial policies, systems, processes, and internal controls to ensure organizational compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and international financial reporting standards.
- Lead the preparation and consolidation of the organizations budget and regularly monitor financial performance against approved budgets.
- Manage the full spectrum of accounting operations efficiently and in compliance with local regulations, international accounting standards, and industry best practices.
- Supervise all procurement, contracting, and administrative activities to support FAA operations effectively.
- Job Requirements:
- Education:
- Bachelors degree in accounting or finance is required; a Masters degree is preferred.
- Certifications:
- Professional certification such as CFA, CMA, or CPA is mandatory.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, and administration, with demonstrated leadership in managing multifunctional teams.
