We are excited to announce an opportunity for Product Manager – Freight Forwarding Services at Logistiq, part of the Landmark Group. Logistiq is a dynamic, fast-growing logistics company in the GCC, with the vision to provide world-class logistics accessible to all.

The Product Manager – Freight Forwarding Services will be responsible for developing, managing, and growing the Air Freight, Sea Freight and Road Freight product portfolio across GCC markets (with sourcing from far-east and India subcontinent).

The role will focus on building competitive freight solutions, strengthening carrier and transporter partnerships, optimizing pricing and service offerings, and driving profitable growth.

The incumbent will work closely with commercial, operations, customer service, and overseas partners to enhance service quality, operational efficiency, and customer experience while ensuring compliance with international freight regulations and local transport requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Product Development & Strategy
  • Develop and execute Air, Sea, and Road Freight strategies across GCC markets, focusing on Far East and India subcontinent trade lanes.
  • Design freight solutions for B2B, retail, and e-commerce clients.
  • Identify growth opportunities and enhance service offerings.
  • Build competitive value propositions around transit time, pricing, reliability, visibility, and compliance.
Carrier & Vendor Management
  • Manage relationships with airlines, liners, transporters, consolidators, and freight partners.
  • Negotiate rates, contracts, space allocations, and SLAs.
  • Ensure competitive procurement and capacity planning across seasons.
  • Monitor carrier performance and improve service quality.
  • Pricing & Commercial Management
  • Create profitable, competitive pricing.
  • Support RFQs, tenders, and proposals.
  • Partner with sales for freight solutions.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor rates.
  • Meet revenue, GP, and volume targets.
Operations & Service Excellence
  • Coordinate with operations for seamless shipments.
  • Standardize SOPs and improve processes.
  • Monitor shipment KPIs and performance.
  • Proactively resolve escalations and issues.
  • Ensure regulatory and customs compliance.
Business Development Support
  • Support the commercial team in acquiring new and expanding existing clients.
  • Conduct customer presentations and solution workshops.
  • Identify cross-selling opportunities (warehousing, FC and last-mile services)
Data Analytics & Reporting
  • Analyze shipment trends, profitability, carrier performance, and operational KPIs.
  • Prepare monthly business reviews and management reports.
  • Use market intelligence and analytics to improve service offerings and margins.
  • Recommend corrective actions based on operational and financial performance.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 10–15 years of experience in Freight Forwarding.
  • Strong understanding of UAE/GCC freight market dynamics.
  • Experience in rate procurement, carrier negotiations, and pricing management.
  • Knowledge of customs procedures and freight documentation.
  • Experience working with freight management systems.
