Anesthesia Consultant (Critical Care & Pain Management) - Abu Dhabi

Job Description

As an Anesthesia Consultant in this specialty, you will be responsible for delivering expert anesthesia care, managing critically ill patients, and providing advanced pain management solutions. This role demands a compassionate and skilled physician dedicated to optimizing patient outcomes in high-acuity settings.

• Provide anesthesia care for critically ill patients in intensive care units and during high-risk surgical procedures
• Develop and implement comprehensive pain management plans, integrating pharmacological and non-pharmacological strategies
• Conduct thorough preoperative assessments and perioperative care planning
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams including intensivists, surgeons, and nursing staff to ensure optimal patient care
• Monitor and manage patients hemodynamic and respiratory status during anesthesia and critical care
• Document patient care activities accurately and maintain up-to-date medical records
• Stay current with advances in critical care anesthesia and pain management techniques

• Medical degree with specialization in Anesthesiology
• Board certification in Anesthesiology with additional expertise or certification in Critical Care and Pain Management
• Valid UAE or Abu Dhabi medical license or willingness to obtain one
• Extensive experience in anesthesia for critical care patients and advanced pain management
• Strong knowledge of critical care protocols, anesthesia techniques, and pain management modalities
• Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills
• Ability to perform effectively in fast-paced, high-pressure clinical environments
