Job Description
The HR Business Partner provides overall strategic and operational support related to all areas of human resources within their businesses assigned
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Management- Ensure HR processes are implemented and operating within the group standards and plan for improvement as when required
- Ensure project deliverables are executed according to project timelines
- Strategize and initiate HR projects which are not introduced at group level to further add value in HR Business Partnering
- Ensure that all HR processes are measured and translated into reports which are regularly updated, validated and cascaded to the appropriate employees
- Utilize HR data to initiate and measure projects
- Ensure that all employee requests and transactions are addressed in accordance to the labour law and company standards
- Mediate and counsel all employees to resolve any employee-related issues
- Resolve issues in accordance to the labor law and ethics guidelines of the company
- Measure employee morale to be able to design and implement employee engagement activities
- Conduct the manpower planning & budgeting exercise with business heads and give input on manpower resource and cost requirements
- Ensure that budget is controlled and maintained
- Ensure that employee experience is positive and timely completed according to the employee separation termination and resignation guidelines
- Ensure all employee information affecting the payroll is updated.
- Prepare the justification and calculation according company standards of increment and bonus
- Design and regularly update employee job descriptions across the businesses which will include each positions key result areas, key performance indicators, skills required and competencies required
- Guide and advise Line Managers in conducting recurring goal setting activities in accordance to the key result areas and key performance indicators in the job description and how to facilitate effective performance management review meetings
- Execute the performance management process in accordance the business and group standards
- Analyze data and recommend solutions on performance-related issues
- Ensure that identified and prioritized roles have an appropriate career path highlighting development actions required to move vertically and horizontally within the organizational structure
- Identify and develop successors are in place to assure business continuity in collaboration with line managers
- Identify, develop and recognize the organizations talent and recommend internal candidates for promotional opportunities
- Guide and advise the Line Managers on the identification and the development of successors and talent
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Management; Masters in Business Administration or Masters Degree in Human Resources Management, CIPD or its equivalent is advantageous;
- At least 5 years and above in HR Business Partnering role preferably in FMCG/F&B/Fashion Retail Industry
- Strong organization, communication and conflict resolution skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
