We are currently recruiting a Manager - Commercial Governance for a period of 5-8 Months with our client based in Dubai, UAE.

Job Summary:

We are hiring a Commercial GovernanceManager to elevate governance standards, strengthen compliance, and drive operational excellence across the Commercial division. The role focuses on process improvement, regulatory adherence, audit readiness, and performance tracking across multiple business units.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Business Process Excellence
  • Lead documentation and optimization of commercial business processes to improve efficiency and governance controls
  • Support process mapping, standardization, and implementation of best practices
  1. Governance & Compliance
  • Implement and enhance governance and compliance frameworks across Commercial functions
  • Ensure adherence to policies, Delegation of Authority, contractual obligations, and regulatory requirements
  • Conduct compliance reviews, governance assessments, and control monitoring activities
  • Review and update policies, procedures, and operating manuals
  1. Risk Management
  • Support identification, assessment, and monitoring of commercial risks
  • Maintain risk registers and track mitigation actions
  • Contribute to business continuity and operational resilience initiatives
  1. Audit & Assurance
  • Coordinate internal and external audits for Commercial operations
  • Track audit findings and ensure timely closure of action plans
  • Prepare audit documentation and governance reports
  1. Systems & Process Improvement
  • Support automation and enhancement of governance and contract management systems
  • Work with IT and vendors to identify gaps and implement improvements
  • Participate in RFI/RFP processes related to commercial systems
  1. Performance Monitoring & Reporting
  • Develop dashboards, KPI reports, and management presentations
  • Monitor performance and provide insights for senior stakeholders
  • Conduct benchmarking and research global best practices
  1. Stakeholder Management
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Finance, Legal, Risk, Internal Audit, Technology)
  • Liaise with external partners including tenants, concessionaires, and consultants
  • Support governance committees, meetings, and reporting requirements

Job Requirements:

  • 5-6 years of experience in commercial governance, compliance, or audit.
  • Strong understanding of airport retail / travel retail operations.
  • Knowledge of international retail standards and performance metrics.
  • Familiarity with UAE/GCC regulatory and business landscape.
  • Proven experience in process improvement, audit coordination, and reporting.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
