Responsibilities
Our newest opportunity is for a Director of Projects to join our award-winning team based in Dubai, UAE.
This position will lead the Infrastructure team and represent the Firm in communications with the Client, Sub-Contractors and JV partners, as delegated by the Management and will provide leadership and management for KEO resources and ensures that the set financial and operational plans and strategies are met.
We envisage success in this role to include:
- Responsible for achieving the overall operational and financial strategy and performance targets.
- Continually assesses technical skills versus needs and implements measures to ensure optimal technical capability of the team.
- Preparing, planning and controlling of financial budgets and team resources in order to deliver required commercial outcomes.
- Preparing and managing complex project programmes and project contracts.
- Ensuring project standards and QMS procedures are implemented across each of the technical areas involved in the project, including project administration.
- Planning, prioritizing and scheduling the tasks, people and resources in order meet identified time frames and standards.
- Ensuring terms of the contract are followed and manage scope changes and their effect on delivery of project objectives.
- Preparing the monthly Project Report and input to consolidated Division Report.
- Participating in Business Development activities including proposal preparations and presentations.
- Highly developed knowledge of statutory and commercial frameworks with the ability to prepare and control budgets, and manage contracts and invoices
- Demonstrates an awareness of the market and factors influencing the relevant market, including key risks and opportunities.
Qualifications
To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include a minimum of 20 years&apos work experience in a similar role within a consultancy environment partnered with a Masters or Bachelor Degree.
Preference will be give to candidates with membership of professional institution or working towards either IEng, CEng / P.E.
