Role Overview
The Brand Manager is an individual contributor who leads all discussions and negotiations with the suppliers to achieve the overall business objectives, including Sales and GP for the assigned brands. It requires complete ownership of Brand P&L & supplier relationship.The Role manages end-to-end Brand & Category Management GTM plans and supply chain planning activities efficiently throughout the designated market/ markets.
Key Responsibilities
Achieve the budgeted gross revenue & profit for the business by developing the required sales plans
Follow the concept of 4Ps (Product , Price , Promotion & Placement)
Build and improvise on demand plans weekly, monthly. Work with the Vendors and channel teams to develop a consensus forecast with assessment of historical trends and sense check the forecasts submitted by the sales teams.
Clearly call out business risks in terms of achievement to sales targets
Implement and lead a monthly demand review cycle and weekly forecast review cycle with internal stakeholders with the right quality of input and outcomes.
Requirements- 5-6 year of Relevant experience in Brand Management & supply chain in the mobile & telecom sector.
- Good knowledge of Market insights, demand sensing and risk assessment in supply sourcing
- Strong collaboration skills with internal and external stakeholders- ability to address and handle conflict situations amicably.
- Strong communication, Negotiation & Analytical skills
- Capable of quick, data driven decision making.
- Ability to coach junior colleagues
- Bachelors or a masters Degree
- Microsoft Office knowledge with strong excel Mandatory
- BI Tools & ERP knowledge Preferred
