The Trainer Officer will be responsible for designing, delivering, and assessing training programs that elevate cleaning, housekeeping, and hygiene standards. This includes conducting in-academy sessions, in-home mentorship, audits, and follow-up assessments to ensure continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver Training Programs: Conduct 2-day academy training (16 hours) and 1-day in-home training (5 hours).
- On-the-Job Coaching: Offer personalized guidance during home mapping and staff mentorship sessions.
- Training Development: Review and update training content and SOPs in line with best practices.
- Assessment & Feedback: Evaluate trainee performance through surveys, audits, and feedback sessions.
- Vendor & Partner Coordination: Work with partners such as Dara Agency for training delivery and project execution.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure all training aligns with safety and chemical-handling standards.
- Continuous Improvement: Audit homes post-training and refine routines to meet high standards.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a trainer or housekeeping supervisor in a 4-or 5-star hotel environment.
- Strong understanding of cleaning methods, sanitation protocols, and use of standard cleaning equipment.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Excellent communication and coaching skills with the ability to adapt to diverse learning styles.
- Fluent in English (verbal and written).
- Hands-on familiarity with computers and CRMs.
- Ability to provide constructive feedback, evaluate performance, and manage time effectively.
- Education: High School (Grade 12) or above.
