Technical Training Specialist – Engineering & Manufacturing

Job Summary

This role requires hands-on technical expertise combined with excellent training delivery skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop comprehensive technical training programs for MEP, HVAC, mechanical, and electrical systems
• Create training materials including manuals, SOPs, e-learning modules, and competency frameworks
• Build and maintain technical skills matrices for engineers, technicians, and production staff
• Develop onboarding training programs for newly hired technical personnel

• Deliver instructor-led classroom and hands-on workshop training sessions
• Conduct on-site technical training at project sites and manufacturing facilities
• Train both blue-collar (technicians, operators) and white-collar (engineers, supervisors) workforce
• Facilitate Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and continuous improvement training

• Evaluate trainee performance through assessments, practical tests, and competency checks
• Track and report training effectiveness using KPIs and evaluation frameworks
• Identify skills gaps and develop targeted improvement training plans
• Maintain accurate training records and certifications database

• Partner with engineering, operations, and HR teams to align training with business objectives
• Liaise with external training providers, OEM vendors, and certification bodies
• Support technical documentation, product rollout, and installation training for customers

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related technical field
• Lean / Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt is an advantage

• 12 years of experience in a technical training, L&D.
• Proven experience in MEP, HVAC, manufacturing, or industrial engineering environments
• Demonstrated experience training engineers and/or technicians in a hands-on environment
• UAE/GCC experience strongly preferred

• Strong knowledge of MEP systems: HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or BIM/Revit (MEP) is an advantage
• Familiarity with Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies
• Ability to create technical documentation, SOPs, and training content

• Excellent presentation and facilitation skills in English (Arabic is an advantage)
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
• Analytical thinking with ability to measure and improve training outcomes
• Self-driven, organized, and capable of managing multiple training programs simultaneously
