Job Description
Responsibilities
Business Development:Development of sales opportunities across all assigned countries (Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain, Jordan, Iraq, Pakistan, and others). This includes researching construction, infrastructure, and industrial projects in each market.
Client Relationship Management:Maintaining relationships in each country with existing customers and acquiring new clients. Regular visits are essential to demonstrate commitment and build trust (face-to-face meetings in the business culture are of critical importance). Documenting customer requirements, inquiries, and feedback to the Regional Sales Manager (RSM) and entering them into the CRM system.
Dealer and Partner Search:For certain projects with exceptional requirements, local support is necessary to maintain sales opportunities. The Sales Manager is responsible for identifying and evaluating potential partners.
Sales Process Management:Full responsibility for the entire sales process in the assigned countries from inquiry and quotation preparation to negotiation and closing.
Market Intelligence and Reporting: Gathering relevant market information in each country regarding competitors, pricing, and customer preferences.
Collaboration and Alignment:Although this role requires a high degree of autonomy and is responsible for an independent territory, it also demands close and trustworthy cooperation with the RSM. This ensures that regional strategies remain coordinated, information is shared, overlaps and conflicts are avoided, and mutual learning is fostered.
Competencies- Proven track record in sales of Maritime Cranes and Port Equipment (min. 5 years)
- Previous experience in a similar sales role (min. 5 years)
- Relevant educational background in Business, Engineering, or a related field
- Strong client relationship management and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in preparing sales reports and conducting market analysis
- Interest in new digital solutions and products as well as knowledge and confident handling of CRM and ERP systems
- Fluency in English, knowledge of Arabic is a plus

The Company
Liebherr Middle East FZE is responsible for sales and service of construction machinery, maritime cranes as well as aircraft systems and components of the Liebherr Group in the Gulf region. This specifically includes mobile and crawler cranes, concrete equipment, duty cycle crawler cranes, material handling equipment in the maritime field, landing gear, flight controls and air management systems as well as components for the aviation industry.
