Job Overview:

Here&aposs your chance to step into the role of Team Leader - Chef Culinary at Global Village under Dubai Holding Entertainment. In this position, you&aposll take on key responsibilities that include:

• Organize the section with regard to mise-en-place production and its service.
• Work closely with the Chef and execute direction as communicated, following SOPs.
• Responsible for completing the daily checklist regarding mise-en-place and food storage.
• Together with the Chef de Partie, write daily dry store, food requisitions and kitchen transfers on the appropriate forms for approval to achieve high stock rotation.
• Supervise and assist in preparation and presentation of all food items, ensuring freshness and timely preparation.
• Work to the specifications received by the Culinary Team regarding portion size, quantity and quality as laid out with recipes.
• Maintain good colleague relations and motivate while directing them through designated SOPs.
• Attend meetings and check the main information board regarding changes in Banquets or other organizational updates.
• Report any problems regarding failure of machinery and equipment to the Chef de Cuisine and follow up to ensure necessary work is carried out.
• Pass all information to the next shift about functions, product levels or other related business needs.
• Perform daily spot checks of portioning tools, record product spoilage, and ensure compliance with HACCP and Global Village standards while maintaining a clean work area.
• Undertake cooking duties and related functions, actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities, and perform any other duties reasonably requested by Management.

About you:

The preferred candidate for this role should possess the following experience and credentials:

• High School certification
• A professional kitchen apprenticeship or chefs training course
• Basic Food Hygiene Certification.

• Minimum of 2 3 years of experience within fast-food restaurant environment

• Should understand how to read recipes and a good knowledge of cooking
